A full validity passport requires a full application with supporting documents and processing time is approximately 6 weeks.
An emergency passport (maximum 12 month validity, 4 visa pages) takes two working days. Its purpose is to facilitate Australians to return Australia as soon as possible. Some countries may not allow entry to emergency passport holders.

Great help from your staff. I had an incorrect form and your staff quickly directed me to where I could access the correct form. Regretfully, I had to wait 5 weeks for my appointment to discover my mistake.
